About the Author

I am a young adult female residing in Los Angeles, California.

My days are filled with poetry, cooking, blogging, and Pinterest. Many would describe me as cheerful, intoxicating, lively, impulsive, and passionate. I am here on WordPress to share a side of me which is rarely known to the world around me.

I am the daughter of two homeless and drug addicted parents, who was born with heroin in her system.
I am the daughter of my father, who committed suicide when I was 4 years old.
I am the daughter of my mother, who abandoned me when I was 2 months old.
I am the drug addict who has faced years of recovery and relapse, again and again.
I am the suicide attempt(s) survivor.
I am the incest survivor.
I am the rape survivor.
I am the self-harm survivor.

Diagnoses: Bipolar I, C-PTSD, Dissociative Identity Disorder

My goal for this world of blogging is to learn more about myself through expressing buried memories. I would also like to meet new people with similar stories, and perhaps form lasting friendships through support and understanding.

I have quite a story to tell. Thank you for allowing me to share myself with you.

You are so appreciated.

PS- I hate Jenny Schecter.

I stumbled onto all 3 of your YouTube videos which led me to your blog.

I also have schizoaffective disorder and, as always, I feel (selfishly?) relieved by the mere fact that someone out there, a real and actual human being has similar problems akin to mine.

I would love to connect with and know you on a more personal level if possible but only if you want to.

Amazing blog. I’ve been hypnotized by your posts and just keep on reading…been sitting in front of the computer for like three hours.
I also feel identified with several of the life experiences you have mentioned in this about section.
Thank you for sharing your life story.

Wow, my dad also committed suicide 4 years ago and I am also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I started my blog a month ago but I’ve only started sharing it with people this week. I’m trying to find a good group of people on wordpress with similar interests. If you have the time to check out my blog that would be awesome! Here’s a link about a brief explanation of my experience with bipolar disorder! https://writingandmaybeserenity.wordpress.com/2015/05/25/bipolar-disorder/
